AI vaccination recall and reminder calls for Singapore vets
Vaccination and check-up recalls are the same call, hundreds of times over. Rekindle makes them, and never answers a clinical question about an animal.
How do AI calls work for a veterinary clinic?
A voice agent calls clients when a pet is due for a vaccination or check-up, confirms appointments booked in the next day, and captures reschedule requests. Each call is recorded with a structured outcome. Anything about an animal's health, symptoms or medication is a restricted topic and goes to the veterinary team.
What veterinary clinics spend the phone on today
-
Vaccination recalls that depend on someone remembering
-
Nurses on the phone instead of with animals
-
Missed appointments in a fully-booked list
-
Clients who lapse after one visit
What your version of this call would do
A blueprint, not a finished script. In production every flow is designed with you — objective, approved wording, voice, outcomes, escalation and restricted topics — then tested before it calls anyone real.
- Context:
- Outbound · vaccination recall · clients whose pet is due
- Voice:
- Friendly, gentle, reassuring
“Hi [name], a quick courtesy call on behalf of [Clinic] — our records show [pet] is due for a vaccination. Would you like to book a visit?”
| The caller says… | The agent responds | Outcome recorded |
|---|---|---|
| "Yes please." | Lovely — I have Saturday 10am or Monday 4pm. Which suits you and [pet]? | Booked |
| "Maybe later." | No problem at all. Shall I check back in a couple of weeks? | Callback later |
| "[Pet] has been unwell — is that okay?" | That's really one for the vet. I'll have someone from the clinic call you about it today. | Escalated |
| "Take me off these calls." | Of course — you won't get these reminders again. Take care of [pet]! | Opt-out |
What this agent will never do
No advice on symptoms, medication, diet or whether a pet is well enough for a procedure. Any concern about an animal goes to the veterinary team the same day.
Service call to an existing customer
A reminder or confirmation about something the person already booked, or is an active customer of. The PDPC lists service calls and reminders about services the individual has bought among the Do Not Call exceptions — the cleanest place to start.
Questions veterinary clinics ask
Will it give advice about a sick animal?
Never. Symptoms, medication and treatment are restricted topics. The agent says it cannot advise and arranges for the clinic to call, usually the same day.
Are vaccination recalls a marketing call?
A recall about a service the client already uses for their own animal generally reads as a service call rather than marketing, but the purpose and wording matter. Your clinic assesses its own position and its Do Not Call obligations, and we build the workflow to match.
How does it handle an opt-out?
Immediately and without argument. The person is added to your do-not-contact list and is not called again by that workflow.
